In the spirit of the chilly winter season, this homemade gingerbread spice is the perfect way to enjoy the flavors of the season without sacrificing your healthy goals! With a few common spices and an airtight container, you've got your go-to seasoning for the winter!
The sky's the limit when it comes to where and how you can use this. Ingredients:
- 2 TBSP ground allspice
- 2 TBSP ground cinnamon
- 2 TBSP ground ginger
- 1 TBSP ground cloves
- 1 TBSP ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and store in an airtight container for up to 6 weeks.
Pro-tip: if you don't think you'll use it all up in 6 weeks, simply half the recipe!
